Thank you for selecting The Rigid Packaging for your packaging needs. Our goal is to provide high-quality packaging solutions and a pleasant customer experience. We recognize that, in some cases, a return or refund may be required. Please review the policy below to learn how such requests are handled.
Returns for standard-sized boxes
To provide our customers with more flexibility, we only accept returns on standard-size, non-customized boxes.
To qualify for a return, you must meet the following conditions:
- The product must be new, unopened, and free of damage or wear.
- Return requests must be initiated within 100 days of receiving the product.
- To avoid rejection, please include all original packaging, including protective materials.

Customized product boxes are not eligible for returns
All customized boxes are manufactured specifically to the customer’s specifications, including printing, branding, dimensions, and materials.
Because of the personalized nature of these products:
- Customized orders cannot be returned or refunded.
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing artwork, dimensions, and specifications during the approval process. To help avoid post-production issues, our design team is available for assistance prior to final approval.
No exchanges
Rigid Packaging does not currently offer product exchanges.
If an eligible standard-size product is returned and refunded, you may place a new order for a different product.
Return Method (by Mail)
All returns must be approved prior to shipment.
Upon approval, you will receive:
- A return authorization number (RAN).
- The correct return shipping address.
Return Instructions:
- To avoid damage while in transit, package the product securely.
- The RAN should be clearly displayed on the packaging.
- Ship with a reputable courier that provides tracking.
Items that are returned will be inspected when they arrive. Only if the product meets the requirements for return eligibility will a refund be issued.
Return shipping is the responsibility
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges.
- We recommend shipping via a tracked and insured method.
- Rigid Packaging is not responsible for returned shipments that are lost or damaged.
Transactions and currencies
All transactions, including refunds, are processed in the currency used for the original transaction. The following currencies are supported:
- USD
- CAD
Please keep in mind that the amount refunded may be affected by exchange rate fluctuations, depending on your payment provider.
Product condition requirements:
Returned items must meet all condition requirements. Returns will be rejected if the product contains:
- Use, wear, scratches, or scuff marks
- Original packaging or protective materials are missing.
- Damage caused by improper repacking or handling
We recommend that you inspect the items before initiating a return.
Restocking fee
All approved returns will be subject to a 3% restocking fee to cover inspection and handling costs.
Example:
If the total purchase price was $100, the refund amount would be $97 after the restocking fee.
Time for processing refunds
- Refunds are processed within 10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method used at checkout.
- Processing times may differ according to your bank or payment provider.
